I’ve been been working pretty hard and writing here has seemed like a luxury but I miss it! I’m back.
I’ve also been a bit of a funk. Having a blog is weird sometimes. This blog has been hit by a ton of spam comments lately. I have the chance to delete them before they show up here but I still have to wade through them. And they’re weird!
“Your style is really unique compared to other people I’ve read stuff from. Thanks for posting when you have the opportunity, …” Ok that one isn’t so weird except for the fact that it’s not from a real person. When I first started getting these I’d get stuck sometimes, trying to figure out if it possibly could be someone kind who I was about to ignore. But the vagueness is a pretty good giveaway.
This one was a bit more joyful. I made this guy’s day apparently. Except he’s no one and he most certainly did not read my blog: “I have fun with, result in I found just what I was looking for. You’ve ended my 4 day lengthy hunt! God Bless you man. Have a great day. Bye”
This one? Those gusts of wind can be pretty treacherous, after all. Nope, just weird I think.
So yes, it puts me in a bit of a funk having these things show up constantly, making it all feel a bit surreal. I’m not sure how sending these out would help someone’s business and I resent that they’re messing with mine but I’ll ignore them I think, and maybe contact my fabulous website guru to see if she can make them go away.
For now, back to the blogging and back to the colours. Yum.
