\"photo<\/a>So glad to see these guys back in action. \u00a0Somewhere along the way I’ve become a hockey nut. \u00a0Specifically a Vancouver Canucks nut. \u00a0I’m a frequent flyer on their website. \u00a0I know when the next game is. \u00a0I can name names. \u00a0A few stats. I \u00a0have opinions<\/em>.<\/p>\n

I was lucky enough to go to a few games lately and that made me grin hugely. \u00a0I love the sounds, the speed, seeing the players in person, \u00a0trying to keep up with what’s going on without the tv broadcaster talking at me.<\/p>\n

I also like the walk through the streets after the game ends, and the team has won. \u00a0First there’s a crowd of Canucks fans all around, loud and laughing and boisterous in a sea of blue and green jerseys. \u00a0Then the crowds thin out farther from the arena, and it turns into a quiet walk, maybe a peek at the\u00a0moon, a wrong turn or two, and a happy feeling being downtown in the dark.<\/p>\n

Now I’m sure the walk would be great after a loss too, but my boys are looking good and I wasn’t able to test that out after any of these games! \u00a0Because they won. \u00a0They beat the opposing teams. \u00a0They got the win. \u00a0(Passive aggressive trash\u00a0talk.)<\/p>\n

The washroom at the Arena made me happy too. \u00a0What great graffiti!\"photo<\/p>\n

Taking the picture, I bent over sideways until I was practically lying on the floor to get out of the shot so it makes me chuckle now to see that the door handle gave me up.<\/p>\n

Go Canucks Go.<\/p>\n

And if you’re reading this from Boston… \u00a0still hurts man.<\/p>\n
