Each morning I sweeten up a local coffee drinker (a tea drinker, myself) by making an espresso and I add a little bit of milk and look to see what is drawn there. The best is when the carton is quite empty and instead of a plop of milk it comes out in a skinny little line. A milk pencil. I have gotten to where I’m not really looking at the amount of milk I’m adding as much as the amount I need. To create the art, like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So this morning this is who I found. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Work with me here. Isn’t that sort of a goat face with a flower on her head? And a cute smile? She was sort of winking at first but when I walked down the stairs the bubbles did stuff so I’m not sure what she’s doing now. Possibly wearing a mask.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ah. Now you see her, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One morning it was this pouty bear, stomping off in a mood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One day there was a flirty llama, or maybe an alpaca? Isn’t she dreamy? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don’t think you need the cheat sheet anymore, but just in case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She looks like she’d have long eyelashes to bat, doesn’t she?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This one might have been an off day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or maybe a bunch of fireflies? Coffee fireflies? Coffeeflies?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So this morning’s goat. I<\/em> think it’s a goat with a flower on its head and maybe a wink. Cute little smile. And it sent my head working and then my hand, sketching out some goats, trying to learn what sketching lines make a goat look like a goat. I love doing that, just sketching something over and over until you see what’s important. Those eyes on the sides of the head seem to be a biggie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
