\"\"\u00a0I visited such a beautiful spot up the Coast recently. Empty and peaceful and wild and full.\"\"<\/a>\u00a0These stripes in the rock made me smile.\u00a0\"\"\u00a0I liked what the stripes were made up of too. \u00a0This starry starry moss always seems a bit magical. \u00a0Teensy green stars.<\/p>\n

I’m always so\u00a0inspired\u00a0and influenced by the colours of places like this. \u00a0The greens especially, but the rest too. \u00a0The pale grey blues of the water and the sky and distant islands, the reds of the arbutus trunks. The golden grasses. \u00a0Below is a slice of a larger painting I did recently and they all show up there I think. \u00a0I bet I could name Appleton wool colours for a lot of those shades.<\/p>\n

They’re such a gorgeous mix of colours in nature, both dramatic and restful.<\/p>\n
