A stop at the Best Fruit Stand in the World today yielded me a bowl of BC pears and peaches. This stitched sample of nine sushi rolls (in progress for literally a few years now) was lying nearby and I laughed when I saw the similarity of colours. Sort of spooky actually. Somewhere back a few years ago before designing that one I must have been staring at a similar bowl of fruit and thinking, “I’m so going to use those colours!”
