Well here we go.
First entry and I’m already showing a picture of one of the girls. Yikes.
That is Lucy. She may look pretty and feminine but she has a nasty hobby (you think I mean habit but no, it’s definitely a hobby) of leaving spitty furry things on the steps at night, ready for barefooted victims in the morning.
I’m Jennifer and I don’t do that at all. I do design and paint Pippin needlepoint canvases though, and I paint canvases in acrylics, and fiddle with photography, and write a fair bit, and pretty much walk around in a creative cloud, which is wonderful!!
I’m going to take a spin at this blogging thing. I think I’m going to enjoy having a spot to put down snippets of thoughts and ideas, pictures, sketches, some of these to do with needlepoint, some not. A little bit more out there in the world than all the things that get poured into my journal.
I apologize in advance though. I use too many exclamation marks!! I make up words frequently and unapologetically. I think about colour way too much!! In spring when the leaves are all just opening and are that bright yellowy shade of green I’m so distracted. I walk around bumping into things and tripping over nothing because I can’t stop looking at those darned leaves!
But that’s the way I am, and I’m happy you came to read. I was dreading writing this first post but I think it went ok. Maybe maybe?
